This landmark project will replace the 107-year-old old Princess Margaret Hospital for Children as Western Australia’s only dedicated paediatric hospital.
John Holland designed and constructed the 298-bed hospital, which has capacity for up to 12 operating theatres. Other features include an integrated research and educational facility and Western Australia’s only paediatric trauma facilities, including neonatal and paediatric intensive care units.
Built as part of the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre and adjacent to the existing Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) combines innovation in medical technology, high-value aesthetic appeal, and design features to aid patient recovery.
